While editing comments and deleting photos on my photo gallery i got a Critical error message.
It's updated to latest version.

Gallery page: http://krigsbilder.net/coppermine/index.php

While executing query 'SELECT COUNT(*) FROM cpg14x_comments WHERE pid = ' in include/functions.inc.php on line 2445

I'm not sure what happend, but after looking through the album I was editing it looks like some of the photos that I tried to delete
still are visible as thumbs  but not in the database. All done withing cpg.

Will this be fixed if I delete the whole album, or would the best thing be to install the backup and then try to remove the files that seams to be corrupting the database?

Unfortunatly that didn't help.

When I'm trying to interpret the info I'm getting back, it looks like the db related to one of the albums is corrupt.

It that's the case, will it help deleting the whole album? Or will it continue untill I resolve the probleme manually.

Nibbler

That's caused by deleting the picture you are using for an album thumbnail. See http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,67596.0.html for a solution.

Have you updated your gallery from cpg1.4.x?

teggan

Thank you Nibbler for refering me to the solution. That fixed it.

Thank you André for you effort. I'm running the latest version, updated it every time a new release have been out.

Sorry for wasting your time, but I must have missed this post. The pages have been up and running for several years, updated at new releases. And this is the only probleme I ever have had.
(Except when I have tried to fix things manually myself.)

This is a solved case.

I just want to know if you started with cpg1.5.x or if your gallery was an cpg1.4.x (or earlier) gallery, as that problems seems to occur just for galleries that have been updated from cpg1.4.x (or earlier).

Originally this album was started in 2004, and I belive it was cpg1.3 or earlier. I modified it and made a clean install in 2009 with cpg1.4.24
