Any thoughts to a feature that would prune old images from albums?  This would allow large albums to purge old photos and improve performance.

this feature also exists. See the utilities tools (admin menu->files->utilities)
Avez vous lu la DOC ? la FAQ ? et cherché sur le forum avant de poster ?
