Unable to connect to database

Just checked my site today and I'm getting this display.

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Unknown MySQL server host 'internal-db.s119986.gridserver.com' (2)

I was going to upload my backup, but just want to find out what you suggest.

Check to see if the database is actually working. Look at it using phpmyadmin. It could be a hosting problem.

Then check your include/config.inc.php and check all the details are correct.
