Just a quick question, i currently run SMF 1.14 on my site, i have Coppermine 1.4.21 installed and they are bridged and it works perfectly.

I wish to upgrade the forum to SMF 2.0 and at the sametime upgrade coppermine to 1.5.12 bringing both apps to the latest editions.

Do i need to remove the bridge between the current site and gallery before i carry out the upgrades or can i just upgrade both and then bridge the two together again using the new setup.

I have done a dummy run on another site which had no gallery, so therefore a clean install to an upgraded SMF 2.0 and this went well (one or two hitches but my fault nothing to do with the apps). Therefore i'm feeling confident in carrying out the upgrades, but need to know whether i should remove the bridge first on the older coppermine install.

I did this a while back.

Un-bridge as you are using the SMF 1.1.x bridge.  Upgrade your forum to SMF 2.0 Re-bridge using the SMF 2 bridge.

Running SMF 2.1.4  / Tinyportal 3.0.1, bridged with Coppermine 1.6.25, plus cpmfetch 2.0.0

Thanks for your quick response, all i have to do now is figure out how to unbridge it... ;D

Glad to report all went very well, one or two minor hitches, for instance remembering about cookies from the board to coppermine being different (silly error) but other than that bridges absolutely perfect.
