I have many galleries I'd like to implement this on, but I'll post the link to only one. Here is the link: http://nikolajcosterwaldau.org/gallery . And I'm running the current stable version of 1.5.20. So here is what I want to do, I have on the sign up page a special box where the registrant has to enter some information to let me know they're human and not a robo-sign up or a spammer. What I'd like to do is add a line in the registration page like this:

NOTE: You must fill out the information in full for your registration to be approved. If not, your account will be deleted.

Where would I find the html to add that part in.

Thanks.

You can edit the language files for whichever language your site is using (Sorry, cannot see your site due to our firewall). The language files are located in the /lang directory. So for English for exampla look in /lang/english.php around line 1762

Thanks Phil for responding. Most appreciated. I'll mark this topic as solved.

That's unfortunate...the poster has removed "Powered by Coppermine" from their theme.

@ nowordneeded - read and follow the rules before posting again.

Cpg 1.5.x has that built in out of the box

I can see the footer from here on my iPad.

Having said that my personal feeling on the matter are slightly different than the docs as far as the bit in red is concerned.

I also think that we should adjust Joachim's thread to reflect the changes for CPG1.5.x as the thread was from 2008 (it links to the old docs etc).

As the one who posted this thread I feel I need to add, I've been using Coppermine on all of my sites since 2006 and at no time have I ever removed the footer on the galleries I run. I know the rules and would never remove it because credit must be given where credit is due. I appreciate the work that goes into the development on this remarkable gallery and would never think of not giving the credit back to those who have brought Coppermine to where it is today. The link is always at the bottom of my galleries and I have never endeavoured to even edit it to reflect anything other than the said credit back to those who the credit is owed to.

Thank you to the Coppermine development team for work well done to allow us webmasters to look so good.

Apologies for the confusion.

I was in a rush using an older version of IE.

Good luck with your mod.

@Joe:

Thanks. I hope it works. I had to implement it because it's obvious people don't read the sign-up page very well.
