Im NOT using the flash uploader, its set to one file at a time, so I DONT need to read anything

Jan 24, 2013 at 10:08 PM - File albums/userpics/10001/normal_me_and_bob.jpg is missing.

The error before update is still there, I uploded a file as a user and this is shown in the log file

From the docs:
Quote from: http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/known_issues.htmIf you allow guests to upload files to your gallery, they won't be able to add file details. This feature has been disabled as it's not possible to identify the user without fail (see thread). Additionally it may attract spammers to add textual content to your gallery. If you want to enable that feature anyway, find Coppermine's configuration table in the database and change the value of allow_guests_enter_file_details to '1'.

Seems that both of us need to read the docs ;) I haven't checked the behavior for guest uploads with the single upload form, but I trust what's written in the docs.

What is the point of not having this setting, as all guest uploads needs approval, so I dont see the point. Who would let a guest upload without needing approval.

I had already looked at the database, now I have to look again

Quite a few people do just that. In fact I had a gallery running for years where guests could upload without approval and due to the nature of the site very rarely got any spam images.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

It is in the database. It is not in the config as it is a hidden option for a reason.

Please slow down. Rapidly posting before you have thought things through for a bit is making your thread hard to follow.

Darn it, no capacha on file upload.. I give up

Check your plugin settings.

We do have a one person per thread rule. Please try and read the board rule. It make it a lot easier to help you if you follow them.

Ive been sent to a thread dated 2010, and still nothing has happend with this, there is no use at all having a guest upload a photo if they cannot add a title (At leased)

I guess I have to spend hours looking for this setting?

No thanks, I think now this album has become a personal album for just a few people in this forum, with no care for the end user.

There are no plugins installed, and those that are available to install do not have capacha, capacha is only working via ecards, as I added it via a mod link in this forum.

This album is now unusable, so I think its time I moved on

P.S you may not have had many visitors? I rank number one in Google

Phill already told you our one question per thread rule, so please start new threads for any other issue than the initial issue. As far as I can see your issue isn't solved yet. Please post a link to your gallery and a link to the page where the log message occurs (I don't know if it happens for all pictures or just some).

no capacha on file upload
It's the first time you're asking for that feature and as far as I know it doesn't exist out of the box, but maybe could added in a future release.

It's in the config table. If not, please run update.php (which you need to run anyway on every update).

You need to read the docs and search our board for already answered question before starting new threads.

Well, that was really helpful.
