The SWF is too small for a touch target (guidelines suggest at least 44px wide and 44px high). And even worse, the type ("Browse") is set in a light light gray that is almost exactly the color of the light light gray button background. And because it's flash, it's totally unstyleable using CSS. Please PLEASE fix this. I'm not flash savvy (born too late, sorry) or I'd do it myself.

We plan to replace the flash uploader with an ajax based upload form for the next Coppermine release.

Great to hear. That button is a design travesty.

For the ajax rewrite, please consider drag and drop image file uploads. I'm sure this is on the horizon already, I just want to underscore the need. It's not much extra work from the development side, especially if you use an existing, dedicated, up-to-date open-source library like dropzone:

Drag and drop is already available with this plugin - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,75927.0.html
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
