Hi all

Website: http://focus4nature.be/
This issue concerns page "Laatste foto's" http://focus4nature.be/index.php/laatste

I have a joomla-based website. I installed coppermine - which works fine.

On "Laatste foto's" I want to show the newest pictures uploaded in the coppermine gallery.
I placed I direct link to the album with the newest pictures.

However, on top of the window, you see the top menu of the coppermine gallery, giving the ability to log in, register, search ... (Beginpagina, registreer, zoeken) etc...
I don't want that. I just want the album with the latest additions to be displayed, without having the viewers the ability to log in, register, etc...

Is it possible to do that ? Or any good 'solutions' (or tricks) ?

Thanks in advance.
Diederik

You maybe want to try the plugin CPMFetch, as it's probably exactly what you're looking for. Of course you could also keep your iframe solution and remove Coppermine's top menu, but this will also remove it for the rest of your gallery. Using two different themes could solve that issue, but you need to make sure to switch to the correct theme, which might be tricky. Alternatively you could remove the menu just for that meta album. However, as I said CPMFetch is probably the better solution.

I seem to remember someone doing this in the past with a modified version of the final extract plugin. It was setup with some code modifications to hise all of the menu buttons except for the home button for all users in the guest group. In that case there was a bridge in place so login was done in the bridged application.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
