The Coppermine development team is releasing an update for Coppermine in order to fix several minor issues. All fixes are not security critical, so if your gallery is running fine with cpg1.5.28 you don't need to upgrade. If you are running an older version than cpg1.5.28, you must update to this latest version as soon as possible because of the security impact!

How to update:
Users running versions prior to 1.5.30 should update by downloading the latest version from the download page and following the upgrade steps in the documentation.

Support:
If you have problems with this update, please use the Update support board. Do not post your issues to this announcement thread - your post will be deleted without notice.

Why was cpg1.5.30 released?
Since the last release of the cpg1.5.x series a couple of improvements have been added to the SVN repository.

Changelog:

  • Removed some PHP notices during installation
  • Fixed wrong display of albums in not displayed sub categories (thread, thread)
  • Allow access to update.php if gallery is in offline mode (thread)
  • Fixed pagination after deleting all hit stats (thread)
  • Fixed batch add interface issue when selecting folder (thread)
  • When bridged to phpBB3, use admin group IDs from database, if available (thread)
  • Fixed misleading "URL of the bridge app" help box regarding trailing slash (thread)
  • Fixed display of not allowed file types that already exist in the gallery (thread)
  • Fixed default value for columns that use the MySQL datatype "datetime" (thread)

Does this support PHP 5.5?

If you mean will Coppermine run on PHP 5.5?  Yes it will run on PHP (4.2.0 or better).
Running SMF 2.1.4  / Tinyportal 3.0.1, bridged with Coppermine 1.6.25, plus cpmfetch 2.0.0
