Posting Images From Other Sites?

Does Coppermine have the ability to allow posting images through a 3rd-party site? Like Flickr or Imgur?

Not out of the box. But if the 3rd-party site has some sort of api for image access, it could possibly be done with a plugin.

We used to have the facility pre cpg1.5, however that was dropped due to the flash uploader. It was quite a limited system but has been asked about quite a lot. There is a plugin available but I have never tested it. http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,78757.0.html

In the next few days I'll update that plugin for use with CPG1.6 (and PHP7) then post it in the CPG1.6 plugins area.

Thanks, just a little heads-up.
Gave it a try. And I don't know if this will help with the upgrade, but any code I insert I get an error message saying "Selected album does not exist or you don't have permission to upload in this album".
I also may be doing something wrong because it's all in German (I think). Hopefully you could translate for us ignorant ones.
