...understood. Just uploaded version 1.5 of the plugin that works with the latest 1.6 Coppermine without any patching needed.
I found it surprising that the plugin still works with PHP 5.
Users of Coppermine 1.5 will still have to patch the functions.inc.php...

...version 1.6 can edit picture and movie metadata from the files: QT from MP4 and EXIF from JPG....
