I had a lovely person help me with the installation and everything for coppermine, now i'm trying to work out my gallery URL

Am i right in saying this is my gallery URL? - http://danielgilliesonline.com/Gallery/index.php

Question 1: How can i get my gallery to match my websites theme that i have edited? (Menus / headers ect) https://danielgilliesonline.com/

Question 2: How can i make the URL without the index.php part? so it's just /Gallery

nowordneeded

Dawsy:

Yes that is your gallery url, however, you can just leave off the "index.php" and just have it http://danielgilliesonline.com/gallery. That will work great.

As for having the gallery theme match your main site. There are a ton of designers out there who do clean and wonderful premades for your site(s). Included are themes for both your Wordpress and Coppermine gallery. One thing I should tell you is if you need help here on the forum, you need to include what version you're using such as 1.6.05 stable, or whatever version you're using. You can find that on the config page of your admin section. The other thing you have to do is put a link to your gallery.

Here are a few of the ones I've used:

https://monicandesign.com/
https://sellfy.com/cherrywine
https://sellfy.com/tenthousandbeats
https://sin21.org/

There are some to get you started. Hope this helps.
Sometimes my musings are too confusing for someone not inside my head.

With a link we can see what version a user is using as long as there is a link. In this case Dawsy is using 1.6.05

There are a few ways to do this. Simply open the page in question and view the source. Near the bottom of the source code will be the current version. You can alsow browse to /sql/update.sql and look at the file downloaded.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
