hey people
i intergrated my gallery with my invision power board a while back now
and i would like to get rid of the forums but keep the users
does anyone know how i would go about keeping the users but removing the forums
any help would be great

afaik there's no converter available to convert from ipb user db to coppermine standalone user db. I recommend removing everything on your IPB except the login/logit mechanism and removing the link from your IPB board page to evberything related to the board. If properly done, users won't notice they're actually authentifying towards IPB, but will get the impression the login/registration process was part of coppermine.
About how many IPB users are we talking? Please post a link for details.

so if i i did recreate the users database for coppermine would i loose my links or would anything stuff up

registering 7 users on the standalone coppermine user table (without  integration) should be piece of cake. I thought we were talking about 700 users or so  ;)

disable bbs integration by undoing the changes you have made in include/init.inc.php when you enabled bbs integration. Your coppermine gallery should be standalone again. Log in with the username and password you created when installing coppermine, then create the users.
