This means your table is probably corrupt.

Use you database tool to browse to the pictures table, click on 'operation', then repair.
Hopefully that will sort it.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

the table is in the database that coppermine uses.

You need a tool like phpmyadmin to work on the database.  Most hosts give you a tool like this to use.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

I was getting the same message when i had an apostophe in the folder name that contained the photos. I deleted the album and recreated it after changing the folder name.

yes! that was the problem for me months ago, i finally tried clicking repair on the table that looked corrupt, and viola! it worked.
