Need Some Help

Hey i know you guys are just probably let me down and say this cant be done.

Ok here is my story....

I am launching an online car community for all the subaru owners, and i will feature all the subaru models. i want user to be able to create albums in the specific category... for example if a user has a WRX, the would create their album "my wrx" in the "Subaru Impreza" category. what i am basicly trying to acomplish is the same type of deisgn like it is on cardomain.com, where user can create their personal pages in the specific category. is there anyway this can be done... please help me couse im about to give up with my entire idea.....

Sorry to let you down, but this has been asked many times, and the answer is still the same, no.

Users cannot create albums within the general categories.

Thanks for your quick reply. Oki what if i install the gallery 4 times all in different folders, for each model of the car. is there a way than to have universal user names for all 4 galleries.

ps.

they are all on the same sql server but only with different teble names.
im not sure if that helps... any suggestions

not a good idea at all, as it won't fix your initial question: user still won't be able to create albums in the general categories. Instead: use one install and create the category/subcategory/album structure for your users.

How do you create categories and albums?  Please read the documentation that comes with Coppermine (in the docs folder) for information on how to create categories and albums.
