I went throught the CPG integration guide and now when I login to CPG I get "Notice: unserialize(): Error at offset 0 of 92 bytes in /usr/local/etc/apache/htdocs/pattyswavs.com/gallery/bridge/phpbb.inc.php on line 90" on the top of my CPG page and I am not logged into CPG.  I did a search around this forum for similar errors and tried some of the things mentioned and nothing seems to help.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

You mustn't have the same cookie name for cpg and phpbb.

Duke

Thanks for the reply Nibbler.  I tried to change the cookie name for CPG and I still received the same error.  When I was looking around the forums it looks like everyone is using the same name for both, are you sure they need to have different names?

the cookie names must differ, the path has to be the same.

I had this same problem, and couldn't find any answers on the forums to solve it.  Naturally I followed all the instructions and made sure that the cookie names were different, and the path was the same ("/").

Today I figured out how to solve the problem (at least on MY setup)!

All I had to do was delete any saved cookies for this domain.  There were two of them, so I deleted them both.  Then, I logged into pbpBB (without checking the box to remember the login name and password).  Switched to Coppermine, and, finally, I stayed logged in there too.  I then logged out and tried the opposite approach, logging into Coppermine, then switching to phpBB.  That worked fine.  Logged out again, then logged in this time checking the box to save the cookie, and then tried both phpBB and Coppermine.

Finally, the error message is GONE!  Something in the saved cookies was messing up Coppermine.  Hope it works for you.

[offtopic]If you are using phpbb 2.0.10 you seriously need to upgrade. It has a known vulnerability that hackers are using to hack many sites. They have contests. It's serious. Did I say it was serious?[/offtopic]

hackers -> script kiddies. There's no honour in attacking a site with an exploit that comes as pre-made script. This makes it much more dangerous: the easier an attack is to perform, the more morons are there who will. It's a drawback of using a widespread app like phpbb: once there's an exploit, some idiot will create a script and submitt it on wannabe-hacker sites, making the disease spread like a virus.
