I currently run 1.2 and am looking to upgrade... is there anywhere for me to get 1.4?  what are the current new features of 1.4? is it XHTML compliant yet?  Any info is appreciated.

The latest stable release is 1.3.2, which is available from Downloads at the top of the page. 1.4 is currently in alpha phase and thus is recommended only for advanced users. There is no support for it. It is available in the CVS under projects.
