Thumbnails appear faded.

Fairly new with this, so would appreciate any help!
The last four shots I have uploaded (here, on the next to bottom row, http://frank.pembrokeshire.net/thumbnails.php?album=3&page=2) all apppear to be badly faded.  I have tried reloading, but same result. 
Any kind soul any idea what is happening here?

This is usually seen when your server has GD2 installed, but you have set GD1 in config.

Has your server been upgraded?  If this is the case, you will have to rebuild the thumbs for these few pics after you change the config setting.
