Hi,I'm kinda new to this all. I want to make a fan site with a photo gallery. Is this even free?
is it safe on my computer?

cause whats this http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658&package_id=95984&release_id=270256

whats with the bug?

Nibbler

Yes, it is free. Yes, it is safe. The bug is just a picture of a bug, not a real bug. Make sure you understand what coppermine is and have a webserver on which to install it.

A webserver? Oh,i dont have one. lol, does that mean i shouldn't do it then?

Casper

Coppermine is an application for displaying photos (and other types of file) on the internet.

It is not a picture manager software for displaying pics on your home computer, so what nibbler said, about needing a webserver, or web host, is correct.

If you have a website, and want other people to see your pics on the web, then this is the best application there is, IMHO.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Oh ok then. I just figured this was what I thought it was. Well,i guess i should do it in HTML.
