Thumbnails have vanished

Just got coppermine installed and confirgured for the first time. Had pictures in albums etc, with all the thumbnails showing perfectly...

all of a sudden - not sure what i did? - thumbnails aren't visible anywhere on the site. The only place that the image is shown is when i view the individual photos. Looked for similar problems on this board and only thing that turned up was a possible browser issue - not the problem in my case as i can't see thumbs with ie or firefox (at least firefox displays the file names though!)

Looking at the html source i see the following:

Sorry, its only on my test server so far.

The behaviour mentioned occurs in all locations where thumbnails are displayed, and includes the album thumbnails:-

It's not affected by whether I'm in admin mode or user mode (dunno if that would make any difference?)

Just noticed something else peculiar (e-cards were working previously) ...

if i try to send an image as an e-card it says "Only images can be sent as an ecard" ...

which led me to thinking that it doesn't think that my images aren't images anymore 

I had changed allowed image types from ALL to jpg,jpeg

AHA! Changing back to ALL and the thumbnails are back... so why can't I restrict image types to jpg,jpeg??

you should be able to do that.  Are you sure your pics were of the same file extensions, i.e., jpg, not JPG.

Makes no diff - tried jpg,jpeg,JPG,JPEG, still I lose the thumbnails, and I can't upload any jpg's.  Only ALL lets me upload, and see the thumbs.

Well, I only want to allow jpegs, no tifs, bmps or any of the other strange formats that people are wont to try.

Are you sure you had no spaces between the filetypes, just ,.

If you an't get it to work, then you could just delete all other 'image' type filetypes from the database filetypes table.

I am having the same exact problem. Tested in IE and Firefox.. firefox does give me the image name.
I upgraded my 1.3.0 gallery to 1.3.2 due to a suggestion in another thread i started because the thumbs were not working with larger sized media files (larger than 320x240)

so i upgraded to 1.3.2 and everything is working fine except all media thumbs (only media thumbs not large photo thumbs) that I upload after I have upgraded & all default thumbs for avi/mpeg/asf and wmv files are coming up as just the border around the thumb in IE and as the image name in firefox..

I have ALL selected... so its not the exact same situation that Niterider has but the problem is the same.

I checked with my host and the backup from before the upgrade has been erased...
Is there a way to move everything back to 1.3.0 or a fix for this issue? I don't have a lot of time.. as this is a pay site that the gallery is on.

Also... it is pass protected and I can't give the user and password out on the board for you to take a look at..
