There should be an easier way to move images (for the admin) between albums... eg; Bulk Move... simmilar to batch add... check boxes, one folder name, one album name... and have it rename the images (if not the same folder as the original import was selected) and move the images to the new album. Maybe it could have thumbnails, but the intermediate image and all the other stuff in the edit images takes to much time. Don't get me wrong, it's nice, WHEN you need it....

I'm not sure what you are on about here.
When you move images from one album to another, the images themselves are not moved, just the database is updated.
I think this suggestion ties in with your other suggestion, about creating folders when creating albums.

But coppermine does not work that way.  If the files were moved every time the album or cat was changed, it would put load on the server, and increase the possibility of failures.  Coppermine uses the database to remember which album and who owns the files, so once on the server there's no need to move them at all.

And when files can be in multiple albums (version 1.4) which folder will they go in then.

You can use the editpics to move the contents of an entire album in one go now, although I admit there's not a single click to select all files for this, which would be nice.  It still only takes about 2 minutes to move an album of 50 or so pics.

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
