Wharn i try to use the batch file upload I get the error message  " _vti_cnf   Not writable."

I went into my file manger on my server and made this file writable and it still gives me the same error

please help.

Please post the actual error message, I really doubt that during batch-add such a message appears. Make sure you have read the documentation, and post a link and test user account (non-admin) with upload privileges. The file/folder in question should be related to frontpage server extensions afaik (totally unrelated to coppermine). Are you trying to ftp-upload using frontpage? You mustn't, use a "real" ftp application like WS_FTP or SmartFTP.
