Can't change Theme

I just setup Coppermine with a different ISP.  Everything is setup and working - EXCEPT I can't change the them.  I use the 'Config' page (just like on my other installations) but nothing makes it roll to a different theme. 

I opened up the read/write priviledges for the themes directories but it didn't solve it.

Any clues about the root of the problem and where I can fix it?

Are you sure you copied everything over to the themes directory? Have you tried to get to it with the classic theme?
