Change text and background colors?

Hello,
I apologize for asking this, I have looked through the threads and dont see anything covering these particular questions and if they do, Im not familar enough with coppermine to know it.

I basically need to change the text color to black on my album descriptions on the main page (because right now they are the same color as the album background color).
And change the background color frm gray to black.

All the other colors are fine.
I figured these problems would be in the style.css, and I TRIED figuring it out by the styleguide on here, but I really dont know which is for which.
I also tried seeing if it was in the theme.php
but the page is blank. I dont know if Im doing something wrong to try and view it or not.

If anybody can point me to where on the style.css it is (if its even on there.) Then thank you in advance.

change the class alblink. This is something you could have found out using the styleguide. Did you actually click the class names on the left side of the screen?

theme.php is not blank.  If you were using Dreamweaver (or the like), you were likely only looking at the "design" tab not the "code" tab.
