I was wondering....

The same way that we can control whether or not to show the Menus on top, by editing "template.html" and removing {MAIN_MENU1} and/or {ADMIN_MENU} from that file, is there a function that calls the CATLIST??  If there is, couldn't we remove that function from whichever file calls it and puts it on the main page, and then just add this function to any other custom page that we made?

I'm interested in this because I'm trying to divide the main content of the main page into a LEFT/RIGHT table... i.e.-  I want to put the CATLIST on the left side of the page, and the alblist on the right side (to the right of the catlist).  To do this, I need to know what function outputs the catlist, which I haven't been able to find yet.

How it is
CATLIST
ALBLIST

How I want it
CATLIST|ALBLIST

I could do this easily with a table if I knew what function outputs the catlist.

Any ideas?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

{GALLERY} displays both CATLIST and ALBLIST.

I want to make a table and put CATLIST in one column and ALBLIST in another column.  For this to happen, both CATLIST and ALBLIST cannot be called by the same {GALLERY}.

I'm interested in this because I'm trying to divide the main content of the main page into a LEFT/RIGHT table... i.e.-  I want to put the CATLIST on the left side of the page, and the alblist on the right side (to the right of the catlist), using a table, put CATLIST on the left cell and ALBLIST on the right cell.  How can I do this?  What function(s) output CATLIST and/or ALBLIST, and where are they?

How it is

CATLIST
ALBLIST

How I want it

CATLIST | ALBLIST

I could do this easily with a table if I knew what function outputs the catlist.

Thank you ;D

You can use cpmfetch and use a SSI...but that will cause control problems while using the thumbnail view. In outer words use an <!<--#include virtual ="/ssitest.php"--> as shown here http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=18547.0   .  If you get the results you and I are looking for please let me know how....thank you.

I have it working in 2 parts  http://www.lambertandassoc.com/photos/callalb.php
