Can I get it to write "Uploaded by Myname" under the pic.

Or must I write it in "Comments"

At the moment, not automatically.  There have been attempts at hacks, but they seem to be unsuccessful.

It is with the dev team for future version.

In the meantime, you could use one of the custom fields in config, and ask you uploaders to fill in the info when they upload.
