Hello,
I have searched around looking for something that might help me with this, but all the solutions I found didn't work/apply.
I just installed Coppermine. I'm currently using another gallery program, but I think Coppermine might be better, so I'm checking it out.   :)
The install process went fine.  I changed all the config settings, including the file size limit (I changed it to 9999999.....).
I keep getting the "exceeded filesize" error.  Even when I try to upload tiny little pictures.
I turned on the debug info display, and while I don't know what half of it means, it seems that my limit on the server end is 7M (as in MB, right?).  So that's plenty.  I checked the permissions on the albums dir and it's sub-dirs, and they are all at 777.
Here is the debug info from the bottom of the page with the error message:

I'm also getting some errors at the top of this same page:
QuoteNotice: Undefined variable: escrow_array in /home/.fats/akalsha/littlebitdifferent.com/gallery/upload.php on line 1939
Notice: Undefined variable: URI_failure_array in /home/.fats/akalsha/littlebitdifferent.com/gallery/upload.php on line 1941

I know that my web host is missing some imagemagic binaries.  When I installed my other gallery program, I had to use netpbm instead.
When I first set up Coppermine, and set it to use imagemagic anyway to see what happened.  I don't know if any of these graphics things would have anything to do with why I'm getting this filesize error or not.
With imagemagic, I got the error, so I changed it to GD, and still got the error.

One other thing:
At the top of the config page, I get "Notice: Undefined index: offline in /home/.fats/akalsha/littlebitdifferent.com/gallery/config.php on line 63".
But again I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with the file size error.
Can anyone help please?

Well, that was simple.  I'm sorry.  I thought if I just did the 999.... thing it would make it unlimited (up to the php's limit of course).  But I just put in 500, and uploaded a pic + it worked.   :-[
Thank you.
Should I ignore those other page errors?

Those are just notices.  You can turn them off in your config settings.

I see your host is running PHP 4.3.5 - you should ask them when they plan to upgrade to 4.3.10.  There are serious security problems with the older versions that are corrected by upgrading to 4.3.10.  Make sure the upgrade their Zend optimizer to 2.5.7 at the same time.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.
