Hi guys, I have just installed a new gallery on a free hosting...

Yesterday, all were working fine, i add pics to test and all seemed to be right.

But today, when i try to acces my site, i'have always the same message error :

QuoteCoppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

I suspect that the problem come from the host and not from another problem...what do you think ?

Here is the url to access to my site :

http://fg7a4.freefronthost.com/php/index.php

Thanks a bunch !

When I looked, it said this:
QuoteMySQL said: Too many connections

I guess that's what happens with free hosting. (https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ftu2.net%2Femoticons%2Ficon_dunno.gif&hash=e2f52032871f175118210c4fb3debca544cc6dae)

(Not that it can't happen with paid hosting, but it's likelier to happen with free service.)

This is strange, because i got the same message again, but i have never seen too many connections.

So, for you, this is a server problem and not my config of coppermine that cause such problems ?

edit :

ok, you're right, with opera i got my msg error, and with ff and ie i got your message.

This is strange, because, nobody know this adress, so, in don't understand how could it be possible that there are too many connections...

i will look so far...

if somebody had a great idea...  ;)

A server has a limited number of mysql connections it can allow and maintain stability. If the limit is too low, and/or other users on your server are using more than their fair share, there won't be enough connections available for all users.
