[mod] Comment Digest/Archive

Some images on My coppermine are way overloaded with user comments, and often takes extra long to load those images. It would be a great feature to add comment digesting, or archiving, or even pagination to comments. Would this be something someone could easily do?

There's a hack to only display the most recent x comments on the page.
