Hi,

I felt the need to register to this board since I have tried all the solutions I found on this forum and not a single one fixed my problem.

I set the max size of a file to 2 MB but..
seems like I can't upload pics (total of pictures, not size for each) over around 500 Kb..

Apache returns this error everytime I get the problem :
Requested content-length of 688762 is larger than the configured limit of 524288

I set this in php.ini :
upload_max_filesize = 4M
max_execution_time = 30
max_input_time = 60
memory_limit = 32M

image and include directories correctly chmoded

I started over with a fresh install of CM under a new DB, same problem occurs..

I tried using ImageMagick instead of GD2.. same issue..

When I try to upload a bunch of files larger than the so-called "content-length" in apache.. firefox returns the message "The document contains no data" and Internet Explorer returns a "page not found" error...

That means I can barely upload 2 files of about 250 Kb at a time.. pretty annoying..

Thanks for any help you could provide..

Fixed the issue, finally..

I started googling around after searching everywhere on this board

I needed to add this to my httpd.conf

<Files *.php>
    SetOutputFilter PHP
    SetInputFilter PHP
    LimitRequestBody 524288
</Files>

And set a higher LimitRequestBody value.. it now works...

This must be specific to CentOS httpd because it used to work fine under FC1 before I moved to CentOS

PS : you can mark this thread as solved  ;D

Cheers !
