My gallery is located here! http://www.sportsrant.com/gallery.  I love this system but I have a question!

Most of the galleries eash start off with the thumbnail, i have tried to increase the size of the thumnail from 110 to 400 becuase the girls that are being promoted would like to have the use of full size pictures instead of a thumbnail.  but there is no way i could get the thumbnails to increase.  I even tested it on a new album that I created.

Is there a way to use the first pictures from the album for the frontpage or album list, instead of a thumbnail?

TIA

You need to set max dimension of a thumbnail under "files and thumbnails settings" to be what you want.  Then use admin tools to rebuild thumbnails. The setting for album thumbnails under "album list view" just uses the browser to resize whatever thumbnail exists.

i just want to clarify though before I try this it states in the config:

(*) Fields marked with * must not be changed if you already have pictures in your gallery

so is this going to hurt my gallery!!

even if i start a new album

Did you actually rebuild all your thumbnails after changing the setting ?

sportsrant

Yes i did rebuild the thumbnails and for a funny reason the ones in my rotating image script worked but the ones on my gallery home page did not!
