Scheduled or timed publishing of galleries

hi @ll,

i looked for the following gimmick, but couldn't find anything,
so excuse my eyes, if the've overlooked somethin':  :\'(

i'd like to produce a bunch of galleries in advance
and have them appear at a certain date.
(always handy, when you're on vacation ) 

when i put them online, i switch them to 'hide album'.
but when the scheduled time has come, it has to be viewable.

any help out there from you guys?

this is the feature requests board you posted in, it is meant for requests for future versions, so you can't expect actual answers here. Nice suggestion, but will only helpfull for a few users, should be made a mod instead of a core feature. A few if/then conditionals applied here and there should to the job.
