Hello,
problem solved: I have commented the following lines in index.php (within pnCPG Directory)

// Only allows logged in users to view pnCPG in the iframe
// This should be commented out for guest access

/* if (!pnUserLoggedIn()) {
die ("You must be logged in to use our Photo Gallery...");
}
*/

Thanks.

Thanks for coming back and posting your solution.

That is not a real solution but it does work.
On my home forum I have posted the solution which is part of the next version.(including some other stuff)

Cas

DERYK

hmm I have the same problems. Unregistered have no access to the cpg. BUT if I mark "Open Application Full Screen" unregistered can access the cpg without any problems.

Postnuke .750
CPG 1.32
pncpg 2.5

Then I guess you have to use the hack posted on this board or visit Cas' home page and use the solution he mentioned. There's little point in replying to this thread that you have the same question if the thread already contains all the answers that can probably be there.

Just adding to the discussion that it is also depending on the settings within pnCPG.
There you can allow anonymous access in 2 different ways.
The use of user "Guest" or true anonymous access.

Hey,

actually I want what his problem is.
Okay, I have pnCPG installed and I only want logged in users to have access to it. Unfortunetly it doesn't work... or better, it works oartly. If I deactivate the guest account and then try to go to the gallery, then I'm redirected to an empty page (there's just <html><body></body></html>).
But I want them redirected to the login screen.
How can I make this work?

using:
pnCPG 2.6 (got it from cas)
cpg 1.3.2
postnuke 0.726 (Phoenix)

Any help would be greatly apreciated. thx

casNuy

It should redirect you to the login screen of PostNuke.
There are more settings than one, so what are your settings ?

So, what do you want to know?

Well, here'S more info (which I believe you might find interesting)
btw: I did not do any changes in the pnCPG mod

PostWrap: No
Ful-Screen: No
Lang: German (deutsch)
theme: default
Create Postnuke user in Coppermine: yes
make user album: y(es)
Guest access: n(o)  (as long as it's not redirecting I have set it to y(es))
Use original coppermine guest acc.: n(o)
Gues Album creat: n(o)

URL: http://www.partynation.tv (Portal)
http://www.partynation.tv/coppermine/ (cpg)

Okay, do you need anything else?
I tried to set the permissions but it did not help, so I deleted them again (so currently no permissions for pnCPG)

any updates?
Where can I find the redirection cas?

Could you tell me the file and location (about)?
Maybe I can help myself...

TheGamer1701

hey, I don't want to become one of the annyoing guys, but I really need a fix here...
See my page for details, it's not redirectiing, and I have no idea why....
Plz give me a hint.

Joachim Müller

Cas (the author of the postnuke hack) is the only one who knows postnuke, he turns up here only from time to time. It's not that we didn't want to help, but the "regular" coppermine staff just doesn't know postnuke. Please allow some more time, maybe he is away.

Andre,

As already said by GauGau, I was out for the the last week. I do travel a lot and have no means of support. Pick it up again as soon as i am back, like today. You could have seen that also on my home-site where i always leave an admin message if I am out.
Now on to your problem, can you send me an admin account (by PM or mail ofcourse) so I can verify some things ?
