I know, another one of these.

I searched the forum here trying to find a solution but can't find anyone else with the exact same problem. I got them both set up and both were running great on the same DB and then I did the steps to integrate it and BAM! Got this error when trying to log in to CPG

Fatal error :
There was an error while processing a database query

That's it.. nothing more descriptive then that. Both the forum and gallery are on the same DB, the same subdomain (might that be an issue?). I can login to phpbb just fine but I can't even GET to Coppermine anymore. Actually I just noticed something odd, I can't even log OUT of phpbb now! I hit logout and it just seems to loop around! This is getting stranger and stranger.

Any ideas where I should look??

Delete your cookies.

Use phpMyAdmin to set debug to 1 in your cpg132_config table.

Post a link to your site, along with a test user/password.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions
But there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

Sorry it took so long to get back on this topic. Also had to create a new username as I misplaced my password and the forgotten password system seems to not be working. Anyhow...

I did what was asked and the links to my phpBB and my CPG are..

phpBB: http://mwduranies.miltsweb.com/phpbb/

test account is username: testaccount pass:testtest

Also, since I turned on the debug mode for CPG I'm getting the following error... when I try to access CPG

While executing query "SELECT user_id, username as user_name, user_level FROM `phpBB`.phpbb_users WHERE user_id='0' AND user_password='*' AND user_active='1'" on 0

mySQL error: select command denied to user: 'miltsweb_copp3@localhost' for table 'phpbb_users'

Joachim Müller

contact your webhost on this issue: your mySQL user doesn't seem to have the permission to execute the mySQL-command SELECT, which is maqndatory to have to use the mySQL database.

Thanks! I shall go to them with the issue then!

Hi!

I almost have the same problem as netrage but i have no problem to login or out from the phpbb forum.
Here is the info i got from coppermine debug mode:

Fatal error :

There was an error while processing a database query.

While executing query "SELECT user_id, username as user_name, user_level FROM `phpBB`.phpbb_users WHERE user_id='2' AND user_password='fcf9b13a15ae9214f6f36b8dedf880a7' AND user_active='1'" on 0

mySQL error: SELECT command denied to user 'halvoo'@'localhost' for table 'phpbb_users'

If i comment the following line: "define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'phpbb');" in /include/init.inc.php file then coppermine works just fine again but when i uncommen it again it stops to work.
phpbb forum works all the time without any problems.

This is how my phpbb.inc.php looks like:

// database configuration
define('PHPBB_DB_NAME', 'phpBB'); // The name of the database used by the board
define('PHPBB_BD_HOST', 'localhost'); // The name of the database server
define('PHPBB_DB_USERNAME', 'halvoo'); // The username to use to connect to the database
define('PHPBB_DB_PASSWORD', 'xxxxxx'); // The password to use to connect to the database

// The web path to your phpBB directory
// If your URL to your board is for example 'http://yoursite_name.com/phpBB2/',
// you'll have to set the below var to '/phpBB2/'.
define('PHPBB_WEB_PATH', '/phpBB2/');
// Logout Flag
// the value of this boolean constant depends on your phpBB version:
// If your version of phpBB is 2.0.4 or lower - change the value to FALSE;
// if your version of phpBB is 2.0.5 or newer - leave it as TRUE
define('PHPBB_LOGOUT_GET', FALSE);
// ------------------------------------------------------------------------- //
// You can keep the default values below if your instalation is standard
// ------------------------------------------------------------------------- //
// The prefix for the phpBB cookies
define('PHPBB_COOKIE_PREFIX', 'phpbb2mysql'); // The prefix used for board cookies

// Prefix and names for the database tables
define('PHPBB_TABLE_PREFIX', 'phpbb_'); // The prefix used for the DB tables
define('PHPBB_USER_TABLE', 'users'); // The members table
define('PHPBB_SESSION_TABLE', 'sessions'); // The session table
define('PHPBB_GROUP_TABLE', 'groups'); // The groups table
define('PHPBB_UGROUP_TABLE', 'user_group'); // The group/user table

Version:

CPG 1.3
phpBB 2.0.13
