Can I say some words? Thank you! :P
1. The most wanted one is:
Now when I open any picture I will get URL in browser like this one:
http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/demo/displayimage.php?album=5&pos=1
And I can only copy the "right" URL of this picture below like this:
http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/demo/displayimage.php?pos=-30
So. The MOST WANTED FUTURE that ADMIN can choose which URL he want to see in BROWSER!!

2. More powerful control over albums and groups.
Because now for each album or category we can assign only one group of members.

3. "My Favorites" is integrated in cookies.
In our days when ships fly to the Mars it so archaic that "My Favorites" is keeped in cookies. SQL will be more cool ;D

we have a "one issue per thread" policy, which is there to make tracking of issues easier both for dev team members as well as users.; that's why posting different requests in one thread is not a good idea.

This would only be possible if you sacrificed some functions like meta albums - nobody would want that, so it's just not doable at the moment.

More granular permissions are being discussed for for future versions already, and have been requested in the past many times over. No new request at all.

This already exists in the devel version, so your request is not applicable.

Marking this thread as "invalid" therefor.

GauGau, sorry for that post.

So as you said already

Maybe you didnt' understand me?
When you open any article, for example on cnn.com, which URL you will copy and pass to your friend. Yes it will be a URL from "Address" filed of your browser.
In Coppermine gallery if you make so and admin will add some more pictures than the URL you past to your friend will become "BAD".
Of course you know that you have to copy another URL from the bottow of the page, BUT!!!
80% will always copy URLs from address field of your browser. And most part of that URLs will be bad.

I can't understand why we couldn't rotate position of these two URLs??!!

Thanks.

But you also are not understanding Gaugau. If you only have the photo's position, you lose the information necessary for meta album photos to work. If you don't like how it's done, feel free to code it otherwise.

Joachim Müller

merged the two threads. Thu put it into better words than I did, but the answer remains the same. If you can think of a better way to code it, go ahead.
