Hello to all!
I'm a NEWBIE in all aspects on PHP.
Considering this, I've tried to upload the installation file of coppermine webalbum generator on my web server.
After starting istallation, I found that my web server doesn't provide the GD graphics library support.
Now I'm desperate!
Since I'm a volunteer in this webmaster adventure, can anyone help me, to (possibily) overcome this problem?
thanks in advance
regards
Mario

if the webserver is yours to administer, you could try installing ImageMagick. If you're webhosted, you could ask your webhost to install ImageMagick for you. This probably will only be an option if you actually have paid webhosting. If you can't have neither GD nor ImageMagick, you're stuck: you can not use coppermine without at least one of those two image libraries - see minimum requirements. You will then have to upgrade your webhosting package (i.e. pay more) or choose another webhost; or you could try using another (less powerfull) application to display a web gallery, e.g. the "Arles image web creator", which is a client-sided software to create and maintain a local copy of your gallery which then needs to be uploaded using your ftp client app.
