I hope to finde a expert that can solve my "big" problem here .....

I have 2 computers on the same network:
PC1: WinXP,Apache,PHP,MySQL,MySQLAdmin,Coppermine
PC2: winXP, Internet Explorer

I have created a Coppermine test-user on PC1 and have no problems when this user is loged in. But when I use PC2 and connect to Coppermine on PC1 (server), the test-user can NOT log in. After typing the username and password, I get the "Welcome message ...." but afterwards I return to the login page.

Does anyone have any suggestions to solve this problem ? :-[

I would try cleaning cookies & cache in IE of PC2

and even if doesn't solve your problem, get Firefox ;)

There could be any number of problems.  Sounds like you don't have permissions set up correctly, and possibly a misconfigured server.  I suggest doing a google search and finding some links about proper server configuration.  There really isn't much we can do to help, as this isn't really related to Coppermine.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions
But there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

Thanks for your input.

I have tryed to clean IE, but no effect.

I will now try to contact some Apache-freaks (server), maybe they are able to solve this problem.

Running your own server is not recommended for newbies at all. I suggest you try to read your way through server setup first, instead of bluntly asking others to set it up for you. Do as suggested and google your way to the information, or buy a good book instead of posting on another board. Most supporters have a low tolerance level if people are not ready to do at least some work on their own.
