Hi there,

I've installed the latest version of CPG and PHPBB (v2) into the same database on the same domain as recommended. I've gone through the instructions for creating the various .PHP files to integrate both, and I've uploaded them to the webserver as instructed. When I login to the admin account to sync groups - nothing happens.

I think this *might* be because the user/password for my admin account on the forum, is actually the same user/password I use for the admin account on CPG.

Firstlly - does having the same admin user/password on both products cause issues with the integration? If so - what is the recommended way to address this? Thanks in advance.

Same passwords is not an issue. Once you enable bridging the coppermine admin account is never used again.

afeter setup correctly the bridge  you need to login in coppermine with the admin /password of phpbb2
then you will be able to sync  groups.

I use this CPG 1.3.2 and phpbb2 2.0.11 and all works fine.    you can find this at www.centroveladervio.it

I you have problem try this:
a) break the bridge
b) set two different admin account / password.   one for phpbb and one for CPG
c) set the bridge
d) If you set correctly the bridge log in coppermine with the phpbb admin account

You should upgrade to phpbb 2.0.13. Earlier versions have vulnerabilities..
