Need help with a few theme modification....picture included

Hello,
I'm trying to make my theme match the rest of my website.  I was wondering if anyone knows how to do the following.  I am modifying the "classic" theme...
Look at the picture to understand what I am trying to do.

1.) How do I move the albums under categories over about 25 pixels (to right) (probably padding or margin)
2.) How do I get rid of that bar that appears under each category of albums.
