Hi All,

Please check www.aviationphotos.org and find the "Airports all over the World" section. What I want is to add the flags of all the countries to all the different categories.

How can I do this ( for now I can only choose between JPG's which are available in the different albums underneath the category)

You can put the flags the albums. Try this thread on hiding certain files if you don't want the flag files to show up.

I'm not sure if it will work, but something to try.

For example if I want to add a thumbnail to the category France I can choose only an image which is in one of the albums underneath the category France, but what I want is to choose another JPG file, which is not listed as available.

Anyone ????

You can simply use bb code in the category description, like this;

[img]url of brazilian flag gif[/img]  Airports of Brazil.

The gif files can be anywhere on your server, and the description would look like this;

(https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fcoppermine.sourceforge.net%2Fdemo%2Fimages%2Fflags%2Fbr.gif&hash=ce66016b7773d6b7beeb4180ac90652153a81d03) Airports of Brazil.

You could of course use a larger flag image.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Thank you this works for me.

One last question: Is it also possible to include a link with the thumbnail.  Normaly this is something like

<a href="LJ4H4312.jpg"><img src="LJ4H4312s.jpg" width="200" height="133" border="0"></a>

So I have to combine [img] and [url] but how ??

Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions
But there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

If you do not know how to use bbcode, you can use the post editor of this forum to make clickable images.
