a question before I download/install

I've been using 4images for a couple years.(I was going to use Coppermine, but when I went to download it, it had gone *poof* - by the time I found it on sourceforge, I'd already had most of the photos transferred from gallery to 4images and didn't want to switch again... maybe I should have in the first place?!) Is there a way to import all the data that goes with the photos into coppermine?

(and if the answer is in a FAQ somewhere - just point me to it. sorry, I haven't read thru all the info on coppermine yet, but I'm working on it)
