Edit Folder keeps loosing it's permissions....

From the getgo from version 1.2 to the latest version of 1.3 I have had issues with the Edit folder... every so often for no reason whatsoever it looses it's permissions setting, it goes from read/write: www to Read/Write: None

This is a problem, and with this new "merger" I hope it fixes itself with this merger, but as for now this is an issue, and for over three to four versions I have been using all has had this problem, this really needs to be fixed... is there an issue or a solution to this problem? I am using OS X, but that should not be a problem, since I have all the needed parts to make it work correctly.
