Thumbnails show but not images

when you click on thumbnails, half of the pictures in the galleries are doing this, is there anyway to fix this without having to reupload. because if the images wasn't working then the thumbnails wouldn't. could someone help me out.

The images are simply not there. What did you do ?

i didn't do anything when i upload the images appear , then when i go back the thumbnails are there, i click on it then the images become an x.

@jessica Nibbler's right, it appears that the images are gone. Have you checked with an FTP client to verify?

did you happen to crop or rotate any of the images in question?

I would switch to single file upload and turn notices and debug on and try again.  It could be a server setup issue having to do with moving the files out of the PHP tmp directory to thier final resting place.

Check the stickies in the "upload" board for some further ideas on troubleshooting upload problems. As you discover more pieces of information post them to this thread.

posting a test user with upload priveldges to a test album might prove usefull as well.
