So I installed, the program, and everything works fine, except the config page. i get a server error saying that the page cannot be found. I tried deleting everything, starting from scratch and reinstalling everything, and the exact same thing happened.

server running Apache/1.3.29 (Unix) and GD2.

Try renaming the file to settings.php

Some servers will not allow access to files called config.php or something like that.

thank you. that worked perfectly.

Wow, that's cool. Sorry to do this to you but I just realized that for v1.4, that same file is named admin.php .... so if you want, you can rename it to that so that when you upgrade, the new one will overwrite the old one. Otherwise, you could delete the settings.php file after upgrading if you want to keep the name til then.

@downrodeo:  erm, no: cpg1.3.x already contains a file named "admin.php" (that is used in cpg1.3.x to toggle between user mode and admin mode). This has been taken care of in cpg1.4.x (as Thu already suggested), but for cpg1.3.x you should heed Thu's initial advice and rename config.php to "settings.php". Do not rename it to "admin.php", as suggested in Thu's second posting.
@Thu: sorry I had to interfere here.
