want to create user link between SMF and Coppermine

What I mean by thisand what I want to do is somehow use the login cookie to provide a link from the forum to my files and vice versa.
So that my coppermine files show my albums, and I can then link to my blogs or forum entries in the other parts of my site.

I at least want my album to show by default when i come from the SMF forum or other part of the site.

I also dont understand what will be my main user database as I have mambo>SMF>coppermine. any pointers thanks

Thanks- I had already seen that but you didnt know this.

I want to add that link from my board to current users (if logged in) album. I can see the link as

http://localhost/coppermine/index.php?cat=10001

[ from the button within coppermine to get to my album ] coppermine is wrapped inside mambo. sothe correct url will be

http://localhost/mambo/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=50 [gives me just the wrapped coppermine so i need to add the user key cat=10001]

http://localhost/mambo/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=50&cat=10001

the above doesnt work.
