here's what I see when I go into my gallery

http://forum.sealordsvf.org/gallery/

Everything is fine, until you actually try to go into one of the albums.  Then all you get is a blank page
http://forum.sealordsvf.org/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=17

I've tried this in Firefox, Opera and IE, with the same results.  Cleared the cache, still does it.

This was working just fine a week ago, and then I upgraded my IPB (from 2.02 to 2.04).  Is there some other setting I should be looking at?  The only integration I've done between forum and gallery has been to bridge the user db.

Joachim Müller

did you apply bridging as suggested in the coppermine docs, or could it be that you're using the unsupported and unrecommended third-party mod "coppermine goes invisionize"? Actually, you get some output back from the page: viewing the source code of the albums page shows<html><body></body></html>, which indicates that there's an issue with the theming engine (which is exactly what the hack "coppermine goes invisionize" does.

I have not used the third party hack.  What I did do was customize the skin a litte for the gallery and of course made some skins for the forum.  But, that was done a fair bit ago.  The gallery WAS working with my own skin.  Also, when bridging, I did it so that the user db is integrated.  That's the only part that's integrated.  I added a link to the gallery from the forum, and vice versa.

I notice I didn't mention this part either...

If you click on an image in the "random images" display, or the "last uploaded files" display, you CAN and do go straight to the image.  The problem is only happening in the actual albums.

If you disable the bridge, does the problem go away?
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

I'll try that after I get back from trimming my mares' feet.  I'm thinking it may be the IBF upgrade that did it.

SeaWitch

I disabled the bridge and it still happens.  I can access the albums to edit properties, and edit images too.  So, for whatever reason, it looks like thumbnails.php is not parsing correctly maybe?  As I said, the only recent change was upgrading from 2.02 to 2.04.

SeaWitch

I reuploaded thumbnails.php and that fixed the problem.  :)

Something else I should tell you about, this is definitely an IBF problem using the upload utility.  What happened is when I ran the utility, it stripped thumbnails.php and albummgr.php to 0 bytes.  I compared the last change date of the files to the upgrade times in the admin panel for my board, and they matched exactly.
