Installed bridge, all login/out works great.

But Copermine is not using the member ranks that exist in phpBB.  For example, Moderators should be able to upload manage, etc. the users and albums in their groups - but my Coppermine doesn't allow that.

Any suggestions?

to coppermine, all groups that exist in your bbs are the same, it doesn't "know" that the moderator group is suppossed to have higher privileges. You will have to go to coppermine's groups page and modify permissions to upload accordingly. There are no special moderator powers within coppermine though, to coppermine it's just a group name.

I have a similar problem. I followed the bridge instructions exactly, so I have a stock bridge installation. I want to be able to somehow associate Coppermine groups with PHPBB users. How can I add PHPBB users to Coppermine groups?

Even in admin mode in Coppermine, I dont get the buttons for "Create new Group" etc.

I think I got it....I created a new group in PHPBB and it showed up in the Coppermine groups. Duh.

glad you figured this out. With integration enabled, coppermine doesn't have groups of it's own, nor users. It just uses the ones from the app you're bridging with. That's the whole point of integration by bridging.
