Hi,
I am running coppermine gallery for image gallery. When i try to upload a file it gives the error that php does not have GD support enabled. After that my admin did apt-get php4-gd and restarted apache. Still problem persists. Anything more my admin needs to do?
regards
Tanveer

I guess the second link you put shows the problem. There is no GD column in phpinfo, however in the top where it shows configure options GD is enables. We did apt-get php4-gd. Anything extra apart from that needs to be done?
Here is the output of phpinfo containing GD specific things(configure command)

I'm not a Lunix expert, but I guess that your GD doesn't have support for any file extensions compiled. There are some interessting postings when searching for "with-gd": http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?action=search2;search=with-gd
