Okay, I dunno if I can solve the problem that has happened to my site, but I'm hoping that it might be able to be solved with input. My problems all started yesterday when I wanted to install the Coppermine photogallery for my fansite ( http://sinclaire.fourletterlie.net ). At first I didn't think that it was working so I deleted all of the Coppermine files. I'm using FTP right now and got MySQL access. Right now I'm working with the latest version of Coppermine that is out.

So, I reinstalled the files for coppermine. Then I saw that coppermine worked with ImageMagick and I didn't know exactly what it did, but since it said that the rezising program (or something along those lines that made thumbnails) was a good idea to have. At this point I go and download the zip folder that has all of the ImageMagick files. I upload them and then realize that they're not what I need and what I need it only one file. At this point I had put all of the different folders and files that came with the many files in them that set up so you could even see what ImageMagick was. My host hadn't told me that ImageMagick screws with the system slightly, 'cause I hadn't thought to ask.

After I delete all those files and then decide to reinstall them, I find what I need. So naturally, I start to get rid of all of the files that I don't need. When I'm trying to delete some of the files in the something Perl folder that was under the main ImageMagick folder I had made, it said that the directory wasn't empty and that I couldn't delete it. So, I deleted all of the other files that were for ImageMagick. All of the other folders deleted fine and same with the files. Then I just tried renaming the perl folder to 're' and seeing if it would delete. Of course, it said that there was no such directory as 'ImageMagick/re', since I had renamed the ImageMagick folder to 't', hoping that I could make another ImageMagick folder and use the program to work with Coppermine.

Then, I tried to logged out of my FTP manager for a bit, just trying to cool down, since at the moment I was pissed. I had put hours of work trying to get a gallery in, that I hadn't ever tried to intall before. Next I tried to log back into my FTP and it wouldn't let me log into my server. All of my information was correct and I even checked with my host. Naturally, I went to my site to see if it was even up. I went to it and my host site ( http://fourletterlie.net ) and I couldn't even see that. Though, when I sent the link to my friend's site it worked well and she could go and look at it. My other guy friend who is going to work on the fansite with me could log into my FTP server, but couldn't delete the files that were the old, renamed ImageMagick folders. It gave him the same error, but he can still access it.

I don't know if this is a problem with Coppermine and with ImageMagick on it, but I was hoping that someone might know what the heck happened. I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum. It all happened with I was trying to install Coppermine 1.3 on my site. Any help or ideas of what might have happened is greatly appreciated.
