For $5 a month, i'll give you 2 gigs of storage, 10 gigs transfer per month, unlimited email accounts, unlimited databases, and i'll even install Coppermine for you.  Servers were just moved to a new datacenter and upgraded machines... dual xeon processors...   havent crashed since the move (2 months or so)

if interested let me know

I can thoroughly recommend http://www.hostito.com. Good prices, loads of scripts there, superb support service and you can install Coppermine with Fantastico.  :)

Can anyone recommend a good Windows based Hosting service that has GD installed?

I have about 5 domains that use ASP, and 3 Coppermine installations.  I love coppermine, but can't seem to find a trustworthy recommended hosting solution that will support both ASP and PHP/GD/MySQL...

thanks in advance..

I read through the list of requirements for this software (Web Server + PHP + MySQL + IM/GD) I have to ask what web hosting providers offer all these features?  What web hosts do all of you use to run CPG?

I know this reply is late, but...I host mine with Hausbrouck Enterprises and OneStop.

Hello,

We offer Coppermine hosting here at Symonds.net as well.  After
setting up an account, simply submit a request to support@symonds.net
and we will install it for you free of charge.

I host my Coppermine gallery by www.siteflip.com if you get to the site using http://www.findmyhosting.com/ then you get cheap hosting:
I've got 1 GB and 15 GB data transfer a month for only $25.20 a YEAR! Included Cpanel unlimited databases. Only been with them for a week but haven't had any problems so far.
I live in Holland and the server is in the USA, can't say I notice a difference in speed with local hosting provider which are much more expensive.

zonehosting

Just wanted to let eveyone know that ZoneHosting.net offers this scripted installed free on any of their accounts.  Please stop by and take a look at zonehosting.net - we offer packages as low at $9.99 with 3gb of disk space and 25gb of transfer.  All the space you need for all your photo's!

Talk to me on IM about a free URL with your hosting package!

hosting adverts are only allowed on two threads on this forum, that's why I moved zonehosting's posting from the "paid customization" board to this one.

www.nlhosts.com

i host all my sites through them and they have a 1-click install ready for coppermine in the cpanel.  It's only $5/month for 500 megs of space...great company.

critter

http://amarillowebhosting.com offers packages from $5/month with the fantastico deluxe suit and reseller packages from $9/month. Apparently there are even cheaper packages for students.

sidenote: thanks for the contribution about amarillowebhosting, but we (the coppermine dev team) don't recommend using coppermine installs based on the fantastico package - it differs from "our" ("Regular") package and is known to cause issues.

I use 1and1 as well... I've been with them for almost a year and have had great luck with them so far. I'm using their developer package for $20 a month and it comes with 4gb space and 100gb transfer. No way you'd need that much for a simple coppermine install but it's nice to have. :)

Can any one help me with getting a freewebhost for me that the domain are free?

Tranz

You need to read the fine print with those hosts that offer free domains since they often own the domain name so you can't leave them and take the name with you.

Casper

so you don't want this for your existing site?
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

for my website I use .tk and I can just add a link to my photoalbum, but I need a webhost that is free..

Teune

I use Parcom.net (http://www.parcom.net)
Starts at about 6 bucks a month, lots of space (500 megs to several Gigs), PHP, mySQL, ASP, ASP.NET, Access, SQL Server, live chat support, support forum, knowledge base, loads of large email accounts... well, anyway, I like them and host several customers there as well as my own site.
